Otherworldly, this seascape suspends its viewer in a living sense of movement. Caught between paradoxical perspectives - competing but harmonised – the buttery film of the cold wax forms translucent layers that lure the viewer to a point of focus on the distant horizon, and then beckons, “come deeper” – into the intimacy of uncovering.
